The Name of the Wind Audiobook
This book is a masterpeice! So is it's sequel. But it's hard to recommend when the third in the series has been AWOL for over 12 years at this point, with no mention or hint of a release date. This book is also a favourite of George R. R. Martin... go figure!
If you like digging there is treasure to be found here. I cannot say too much or I will spoil parts of the story.
This book is so well written that the subreddit is still making connections between things today; new theories, new ideas.
Patrick is an incredible author that weaves words into the tapestries that bind this story's world together.
I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys books of fiction and fantasy. The second book is just as good, if not better.
Heads-up: This book does have themes of violence and loss. It has good things too, but sometimes you have to make your way through the bad first.
